Thank you so much for investing in prayer for revelation. Last night God brought a few stray ideas together and anchored them in Isaiah 19 a passage I have not visited for quite some time. The result was a very different approach to the issue at hand.
We will know in a few days if that was the whole answer to the surface issue, but it is quite evident that the surface issue was just a set up by the Lord. This new concept seems to be woven through several different aspects of my life (and yours too, probably), so when I have my quiet time with the Lord this weekend, I shall be looking far broader than I anticipated.
So a big thank you for an answer bigger than I was looking for. You are a formidable force. We may need to do this again.
Lacy acquitted herself nobly at our fractal brainstorming session. She is coming from behind to be sure but is closing the knowledge/methodology gap vigorously. I think within a month she will hit her pace and will be a formidable partner.
As a result of yesterday, we are going to have to take a step back and revisit the fractal of nine. Our theory said it was nested threes, but nothing fit yesterday so either we are short one component in our fractal of ten model or we need to find the mother fractal for nine. I am going to unleash Leah on hunting for the mother fractal of nine in her spare time. If any of you find a list of nine in Scripture — especially Genesis — and want to contribute to her hunt, send it to Leah@TheSLG.com.
Overall, it was an excellent day with huge take away value. Lacy left with considerable job security, capping a great week.
The Thursday night work party at Gabi’s did not happen. We ran into some logistical problems so have postponed it briefly. While our hands have no blisters yet, her mind has been cheerfully planting and replanting sundry different combinations of plants and geometric layouts.
Meanwhile graphic projects abound. Hanna has joyously finished the redesign of ALL of our album covers. We now have some consistent parameters across all of the covers, and they are in a format that will allow her to modify album covers as needed in the future to fit different size local albums as we move more and more production out of this office. Currently all of the South African CD albums are produced there which is a huge savings in shipping costs. We hope to do the same in Austria when that office opens.
Long term, Hanna enjoys creating books much more than album covers. There are two manuscripts on her desk at present and another one in the pipeline. Plus she is preparing to write some materials in German which will occupy much of her time going forward.
That said, Gabi is trying her hand at graphics in general and album covers in particular. Our current sequence of projects is Fractal of Two: Adrenals and Kidneys (on Sandy’s desk at present); Healing PTSD; AHS; A Hard Life; Possessing Your Birthright.
We are training Leah as project manager for graphics projects. The goal is that by the time we get to “A Hard Life” the two of them should be able to handle every single step of the process except the original content which in theory will free me up to do more original content.
Gabi has already produced three lightboxes of graphics for me and is working on some sample covers now for “A Hard Life.” In a few days her firstfruit offerings will be gracing the wall of our video studio so we can kibitz them as a team before deciding on the finalist. Her joy in discovering additional features of Photoshop and InDesign is immense.
Monday I will record a bunch more video clips for the birthright series, then settle into my writing mode for the PTSD CD album. I am really looking forward to that one.
On Tuesday Megan will break out the new EAV machine and we will begin experiments on that front with our in-house guinea pigs. Should be fun. Watch the Brain Renewal Blog for details there.
Leah is about 3/5ths through the process of entering 500 verses about the heart into her master spread sheet. Ya gotta love a Ruler’s ability to bear down on long, repetitive, linear projects and grid them out with grace. That raw data will be priceless after she gets it entered and Leah learns how to do pivot tables for me so I can sort the data sundry ways.
Last but not least, I am going to a restaurant this weekend. It is a long drive from here. I have never been there before. However, it has been calling my spirit incessantly so I am going to answer the call and see if I can find out what my spirit knows that my soul is clueless about.
