Where has this week gone!
I normally live each day of a week, but it feels like I skipped over a few this week. Let’s see what I can recreate.
Saturday was our seminar in Rancho Cordova. It seemed like a good, solid event. Good people. Some fun moments. A bit of revelation here and there. Definitely empowered some people along the way. Made some new friends. Know a lot about where I need to reshape the presentation on male worship. Good stuff, but sure needs some wordsmithing yet.
I was too tired on Saturday evening to write the light prayer, so I did it Sunday morning. As I drove eight hours home, I probably spent five hours on the phone in ministry. There was definitely power and fruit from that time. Wonderful revelation from God about some deep sticky issues. The firstfruits from your prayer were huge.
Monday to Thursday are all a blur. Due to some unusual circumstances, it seems as though I spent a disproportionate amount of that time doing personal ministry over the phone. It was very much an answer to your light prayers of the week. As the junk of people’s lives came to the front, God moved powerfully to show the way and bring life.
Not only did people make progress in their journeys, but I learned some valuable new insights about deliverance.
On Monday, I teamed up with a new prayer partner looking at nuances of the different season we are in right now, and we had a powerful time M/W/F mornings as we hammered on issues. God gave revelation. We prayed with power. Stuff moved.
Today, Friday, May 2nd is the 20th birthday of Plumbline Ministries/SLG. Our team prayed and partied a lot during the day, then recorded eight videos this afternoon. The first one is already up on YouTube compliments of Megan’s blazing fast work. The rest will go up sometime next week.
And now it is time to head home. I will spend the evening in the recliner or on the couch, savoring a very complex week where the light was certainly shining, and people’s junk became freedom and life due to your prayers.
