Authority needs to flow along a structure. In America, the president makes a decision, and it is implemented by a bureaucracy of millions of people.
In Syria, the presidential structure is quite compromised, but there are a remarkable number of other organizations with structures of some sort or another that manage to carry out death-promoting activities.
Xerxes had all the structure that Mordecai needed. Secretaries came and took the original edict rapidly making copies. They translated it into the languages of the different provinces. There was a system of fast horses and couriers who rapidly got the dispatches to all of the 127 jurisdictions in Xerxes empire, from India to Cush.
Without the systems and structures that Mordecai inherited, implementing the lifesaving plan he had would not have been possible.
Each Mordecai who steps out of the shadows into the limelight will need some sort of structure in place which he can use to fix the other structures that have been co-opted by the Moabite curse.
Pray that during the messy transition from one era to another, God would protect the strategic systems and structures that each Mordecai needs at the front end of his new assignment, to execute the changes that are needed immediately.
Hmm . . . I had finished the blog when I got a strong nudge from the Holy Spirit. Pray that all the needed databases would be protected from knowing or accidental damage during a change of administration. That is pretty specific and pretty strong.
Apparently there is some incriminating evidence on some computers, and the person leaving could damage a lot of needed legitimate data, in the process of covering up their malfeasance. God seems to want that to be stopped.
